The Bioactive Ceramic Implant.

Thinking Beyond the Box.

MERIDIAN® ceramic dental implants made from bioactive BIO-X glass-ceramic combine a metal-free treatment concept, excellent biocompatibility, and natural aesthetics with an additional biological advantage: a bioactive surface designed to support interaction with the surrounding bone and promote a favorable environment for osseointegration.

Histomorphometric analysis shows that Bioverit® I achieves the smallest Bone-Implant Distance (BID) among tested materials.

A smaller BID indicates that bone grows closer and more uniformly to the implant surface.

CERAMIC IMPLANTS: THE NEXT GENERATION IN BIOACTIVE IMPLANTOLOGY

MERIDIAN® BIOACTIVE CERAMIC IMPLANTS

Setting a New Standard in Biological Integration, Stability and Metal-Free Implantology

MERIDIAN® combines advanced implant design with BIO-X bioactive glass-ceramic, offering a streamlined system designed for biological integration, high primary stability and efficient clinical workflows.

MERIDIAN®  Beyond Ceramic. Bioactive by Design.

A implant kit with all-ceramic zirconia drills made of ATZ ceramic. The rotating instruments made of ATZ and stainless steel ceramic shrank feature a very long service life, with consistently sharp cutting surfaces. The surgical tray, with its clear design, makes it easier to comply with differing drilling protocols.

Why Choose Ceramic Dental Implants?

MERIDIAN® ceramic dental implants are made from BIO-X bioactive glass-ceramic, a metal-free material developed to combine mechanical stability with active interaction at the bone–implant interface. Unlike conventional zirconia implants, the bioactive surface is designed to support the formation of an HA-like layer when exposed to body fluids, helping create favorable conditions for biological integration. The naturally light ceramic appearance also supports excellent aesthetics in the soft tissue area without the risk of a grey metallic shine-through. This combination of metal-free design, bioactivity, tissue compatibility and aesthetics makes MERIDIAN® a distinctive option for modern biological implantology.

What Makes MERIDIAN Ceramic Implants Different?

Ceramic implants offer a metal-free alternative to conventional titanium systems and are valued for their excellent aesthetics, tissue compatibility and natural appearance. Their light colour helps avoid dark shadows around the gums, especially in patients with thin soft tissue.

MERIDIAN® goes one step further by using BIO-X bioactive glass-ceramic. This material is designed not only to provide stability, but also to interact with the biological environment and support the formation of an HA-like surface layer. Combined with a tissue-level design and high primary stability, MERIDIAN® brings together aesthetics, biology and simplified clinical workflows in one implant concept.
